GutRot 1916
In 1916, 22 men were stranded on sub-antarctic Elephant Island. 6 of their crew had left in a tiny lifeboat - their last hope of finding help. While the rest of them waited, they concocted a potent brew using methylated spirits (and a few other things...). It was dubbed ‘Gut Rot 1916’.  Inspired by this story - part of Shackleton's Endurance expedition - I created packaging for GutRot 1916. Sketches hand-drawn, scanned and developed using Photoshop, then combined with other elements in Illustrator.
Piccolo Pasta
Packaging for artisan pasta brand, 'Piccolo'. I have taken inspiration from the architecture of Renaissance Italy, especially from the city of Venice. Created with Adobe Illustrator.
